These four girls are my "self-appointed" team of assistants at
the Mwangaza School. From the fist day that I appeared at the school, they
managed to skip all of their other classes (I don't know how they do it)
every Wed. and shadow me all day long.
They follow me everywhere, carry my
(many) bags filled with materials, distribute paints and markers to the
children and clean up. Then they sit with me and admire my hair or my toes
and teach me Kiswahili words, "ninyi ni wasichana wazurii, You are very
wonderful girls."
